Brazil Will Make You Wait 24 Hours to Move More Than $10,000 to Your Own Wallet
Brazil's central bank published Resolution BCB 584/2026 on August 7, imposing a 24-hour hold on transfers above $10,000 from exchanges to self-custody wallets or foreign VASPs. The threshold aggregates daily volume. It takes effect January 1, 2027.
