Strategy Sold 1,690 Bitcoin at an $18.8M Loss to Buy Back Its Own Preferred Stock
Strategy disclosed selling 1,690 BTC at an average $64,262 between August 3 and 9, roughly $11,000 below its $75,385 cost basis. All $108.6 million went to repurchasing 1,152,020 STRC preferred shares. Holdings now stand at 840,447 BTC.
One Company Holds 4.8% of All Ethereum and Has 85% of It Locked in Validators
BitMine holds roughly 5.777 million ETH, close to 4.8% of existing supply, with about 85% staked and generating an estimated $247 million in annual rewards. It is the largest single-entity concentration in Ethereum outside exchanges and the ETF complex.
